Property Accessibility Statement

Pettigru Place Bed & Breakfast is a Federal-style brick home built in 1921 and listed on the historic register.  The house was built as a private home for the Greene family and continues to be a private residence today. There are five guest rooms on the second floor, and one on the first floor.  These rooms are accessible only by a flight of stairs with seventeen steps. The guest entrance to the B&B also has three stairs and the bed and breakfast is not wheelchair accessible.  Pettigru Place Bed & Breakfast is listed on the National Register of Historic Places under the National Historic Preservation Act (16 U.S.C. 470 et seq.), and is designated as historic under State law.  Thus, completing accessibility alterations would destroy the historical significance of the property.  We hope that this description will help you in deciding if this is the right fit for you.  If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact us at 864-242-4529 or email at info@pettigruplace.com.
