February Innside Scoop of Fun things To Do In Greenville SC

Romantic restaurants with Fireplaces in Greenville, S.C..

February is here and it’s time to celebrate with your sweetheart (or bestie)  Greenville has so many great restaurants but we wanted to highlight the ones with fireplaces.  When its cold outside what is more romantic than to sit by a cozy flickering fire.  And of course we have three great rooms with electric fireplaces if you are a fireplace lover.

Crackling fire near seating area with wine and cheese tray.

You have your choice of Greenville steakhouses that include a fireplace. For over fifty years the Peddler has hosted special occasions.  This unique Greenville original has 4 fireplaces inside of this 100-year-old building surrounded by trees on the north side of town.   Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is located on Woodruff Road.  This American fare steakhouse prides itself on a scratch-made menu and cooking over a hardwood grill.  If you’re looking for more than your average steak dinner, try Saskatoon Lodge.  Of course, they have steak, chicken, and seafood as well as elk, kangaroo, and Ostrich.  They serve all sorts of wild game at the lodge located on nine beautiful acres.  Saskatoon is certainly a favorite of my family.  For a mix of contemporary and rustic, you can visit City Range Steakhouse on Haywood Road.  You can have a delicious romantic dinner (Hello Braised Short ribs with Pimento Cheese Mash and Asparagus!) inside by the fire or share appetizers and a bottle of wine (half-priced on Tuesdays) on the covered patio with the fireside bar. Another establishment with both restaurant and bar fireplaces is the Grand Bohemian.  You can enjoy Seared Scallops with pomegranate molasses at Between The Trees or head to Sip & Bower for small plates and their rare bourbon collection. Both offer beautiful views and warm fires.  Soby’s New South Cuisine has a large stone fireplace adding a warming touch to this Greenville gem.  Get an order of Fried Green Tomatoes and enjoy watching this bustling restaurant seamlessly cater to both Greenville regulars and out-of-town guests.   Don’t forget to make reservations in advance!

Once your dinner reservations are made, its time to head downtown for shopping, looking at art galleries, or attending one of the great shows that come to town in February.
