With rentals available 7 days a week, and plenty of parks, shops, and restaurants, this is the best way to explore downtown Greenville and the Swamp Rabbit Trail (see below for more info on the trail).

Strap on your helmet and take off on the
Swamp Rabbit Trail, 17 miles of revitalized railway following the Reedy River.  From downtown, the easy 10-mile route to Travelers Rest is flat and gentle, perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike.  In less than an hour, you'll be spinning your way around beautiful Furman Lake and the university campus.  In 20 more minutes you're in downtown Travelers Rest ready to enjoy lunch at the Cafe at Williams Hardware or shopping at Sunrift Adventures.  The round trip is the perfect half day adventure and a great way to explore the area.  Half day, full day, and weekend rates available.

Swamp Rabbit Trail

A former rail line, the Swamp Rabbit Trail is a 17-mile walking/biking trail that runs along the Reedy River connecting Travelers Rest with the City of Greenville.  Blissfully flat and closed to cars, this trail passes through both Cleveland Park and Falls Park, has scenic views of the Reedy River, and takes a quaint meander around Furman Lake.  Be sure to check out Alley Kat's Waterin' Hole run by 6-year-old Madeline who donates all proceeds to the Shriner's Hospital (where she is also a patient).
Rent a bicycle, helmet, bag, and lock from Reedy Rides.
