WEEK 1

October 31 - November 3:  Spend the evening at Cafe and Thensome, Greenville's only dinner theater for an evening of good food and plenty of laughs.   Join your favorite redneck thespians each week Wednesdays - Saturdays. Dinner seating starts at 6:30 pm with the show at 8:30 pm.

 

November 1 - 4:  Sink your teeth into Dracula Bites, the hilarious new comedy at Greenville Little Theatre.  A small town production of Bram Stoker’s Dracula spirals out of control, heading for certain failure...or will the outcome surprise everyone?

 

November 1 - 3:  In 1939, Patrick Hamilton's thriller Gas Light opened in London, and in 1941 the same play, about a fiendish husband trying to drive his wife insane, opened in New York under the title Angel Street. It was later made into a Hollywood movie, again titled Gaslight. It is one of the longest running non-musical shows in Broadway history and you can see it at Centre Stage this fall!  

 

November 1 - 5:  A donkey and an elephant walk into a bar...no...seriously...fed up with politics? Fed up with clowns posing as public servants? Fed up with the Feds? Come enjoy this non-politically correct farce set in the Oval Office during a presidential election! Warehouse Theatre presents November.  Various performance times.

 

November 1 - 2:  Journey through time and witness the craftsmanship of the Old Masters, beginning with the Gothic period and moving through the Renaissance and Baroque eras and into the nineteenth century. Specially featured are great works by major artists such as Botticelli, Tintoretto, Rubens, van Dyck, Honthorst and Dore at the Highlights of the Collection Guided Tour at the Museum and Gallery at Bob Jones University.

 

November 2 - 3:  A tour of the exhibit, Rublev to Faberge: The Journey of Russian Art and Cultureto America, will take you into the fascinating world of Russian culture, customs, and history at the Museum and Gallery at Heritage Green.

 

November 2:  The first Friday of each month 29 art galleries and venues will be offering local, regional and national talents with First Fridays. A wide range of media will be represented: oils, watercolors, acrylics, pottery, jewelry, glassworks, woodworks, photography, and mixed media. Step out and support our thriving arts community.

 

November 2 - 4:  Check out the Greenville Road Warriors in action, a minor league hockey affiliate of the New York Rangers playing just a block away at the Bi-Lo Center.  

 

November 3:  Can you outrun the zombies?  The Greenville Zombie Run, 5K Chase Race will bring together the living (brave souls!) and the walking dead to create an apocalyptic 5K run in Heritage Park. Runners will navigate a 5K course, with obstacles, all while avoiding the blood thirsty zombies that have infested the course.  

 

November 3 - 4:  Greenville-area artists open their studios during this annual weekend for the visual arts, Greenville Open Studios

 

November 3 - 4:  Prepare yourself for a performance of epic proportions as the "superstars" of German composers take center stage in concert as the Greenville Symphony Orchestra presents German Giants!  The program kicks off with Beethoven's dramatic Leonore Overture No. 3, followed by Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 4, Op. 90. The evening climaxes with Brahms' thrilling Symphony No. 1, Op. 68. 

 

WEEK 2

November 6:  Greenville History Tours and Table 301 have partnered to offer the first culinary tours in Upstate, SC. At the Chef’s Table Culinary Tour is an exciting dining and cultural experience that takes you to five destinations—each with the opportunity to meet the chefs and dine at their tables. Highlights include a cooking demo, kitchen visit, and more.  Tuesdays 6 - 9 pm and Saturdays 1:30 - 4:30 pm.  See link for reservations.

November 10:  You may know him as Silent Bob, but Kevin Smith is also a screenwriter, film producer and best-selling author.  See him at the Peace Center.

 

WEEK 3

November 12 - 13:  Rock the Presidents is a high octane, multi-media-filled musical revue spanning 223 years of the American presidency – from George Washington to Barack Obama.  The 44 men who rose to the highest office in the land are brought to life through all-new rock, pop, and folk music.   Peace Center

November 16 - 18:  From the lighthearted Marriage of Figaro Overture to the Greenville premiere of the Posthorn Serenade, which features a very rare instrument, to the richly scored Symphony No. 31 inspired by the city of Paris, All Mozart offers four varied selections, designed with a little something for everyone with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra.

 

November 17:  Fall means football so come out and cheer on Furman as they take on The Citadel!

WEEK 4

November 20 - 25:  Million Dollar Quartet at the Peace Center is the Tony Award®-winning Broadway musical, inspired by the electrifying true story of the famed recording session where Sam Phillips, the “Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll” brought together icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins for one unforgettable night. Featuring timeless hits including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “I Walk the Line,” “Hound Dog,” and more.

November 23 - 30:  Ice on Main returns! Bring your family and friends for a spin in the heart of downtown Greenville at the Courtyard Marriott on Main Street on an open-air ice skating rink, the only one of its kind in Upstate South Carolina. Enjoy eight full weeks of skating excitement.

 

November 23 - 24:  A tour of the exhibit, Rublev to Faberge: The Journey of Russian Art and Cultureto America, will take you into the fascinating world of Russian culture, customs, and history at the Museum and Gallery at Heritage Green. 

 

November 24 - 30:  Drive through the tunnel of lights, up candy cane lane, and by dozens of light displays such as Ski Jumping Santa and the Belly Whomping Frosty at the Roper Mountain Holiday Lights. Park your car and visit Winter Wonderland with Santa himself, lighted walking trails, giant holiday greeting cards painted by local students, concessions and more. Enjoy a magical holiday experience!

 

November 24:  Fall means football so come out and cheer on Clemson as they take on South Carolina!

 

November 24 - 30:  Enjoy the festive holiday tree displays at each of the downtown hotels as part of the St. Francis Holiday Festival of Trees.  

 

WEEK 5

 

November 29 - December 1:  The TD Convention Center hosts the Holiday Fair, the region's largest arts, crafts, and gift show in this three day fair!

November 30:  Trans-Siberian Orchestra  is teaming up with Hallmark Channel to present the live debut of the band's multi-platinum rock opera.  A modern classic that can stand side by side with a Charles Dickens tale, "The Lost Christmas Eve" is the newest TSO holiday tradition. Bi-Lo Center
