Safety and Security

Hallway leading to the guest entrance door, showing the staircase to the right, and the hall tree with guest sign in book and a sweet treat of lollipops on the leftSafety and security are very important to our guests, particularly to our traveling businesswomen. We believe that we have the most secure Greenville accommodations in the area. We are located in a quiet historic district about a 15 minute walk from Main Street. We have off street parking in back that is very well lighted, and leads directly into our side door. In addition to the street lights we have white tree lights that line the parking lot in back and the front door.

We live on site and are here 24 hours a day, thus allowing us to keep an eye on our parking lot and all areas in and around the B&B. Our doors are locked 24 hours a day, which means that nobody has access unless we know about it. (You cannot say that about a Greenville hotel or motel parking lot, halls, or lobby.)  All Three red brick steps leading to guest entrance door, with several pots of blooming red flowers on either side.of our rooms are internal access.  Our guests are given two keys, one to let them in the side door and the other for their room.

Most important: we get to know our guests. There are never any strangers in the house...only new friends.

We are protected by ADT Security Systems for our fire and smoke protection, and meet or exceed city coded, AAA, S.C. B&B Association, and PAII (Professional Assn. of Innkeepers International) requirements for lighting, safety systems, and security.

We quite regularly have our business travelers' spouse visit or call to tell us that they feel much more comfortable with their traveling spouse staying with us, as opposed to a place which is much more public. We appreciate these comments and work hard to exceed our guests' expectations with respect to safety and security.
