Jeter Mountain Farm Now in their 6th year of business, they open their doors to the community each July – October, offering a variety of u-pick apples and other fruits; a hard cider taproom featuring hard ciders crafted from apples picked, pressed, fermented and canned or kegged on site; a from-scratch Bakery; a Smokehouse serving in-house smoked BBQ; a full Coffee House; an indoor children’s play area; 6,000 square feet of retail gift shop and market space; and many other fall favorite treats.
Justus Orchard – Also located in Hendersonville, this 4th generation-owned orchard has pick your own fresh apples and pumpkins. The bake shop has apple cider donuts, apple cider slushies, cobblers, pies, and other seasonal baked goods all made from produce from their farm. Grandad’s Apples – Hendersonville At Grandad’s 100-acre family farm, you can pick your own, or mix and match from what they have picked for you. In addition to apples, they also have pumpkins and mountain cabbage. They also have fun fall weekend activities like a corn maze and an apple cannon. Saturday mornings from 8:00 – 12:00 – TD Saturday Market – On Saturday mornings from the beginning of May until the end of October, two blocks of downtown Greenville’s Main Street are transformed into a bustling farmers’ market. The market features over 75 vendors selling the season’s freshest produce and the area’s most original and high quality crafts. Each week thousands of people flock to the TD Saturday Market for locally-sourced products where all food must be grown or produced within 100 miles of Greenville and crafters are highly-encouraged to use locally-sourced supplies

The Kilgore-Lewis House, built in 1838, became the headquarters for the Greenville Council of Garden Clubs, Inc., on July 30, 1974. Moved from its original site to the present location at 560 North Academy Street, the house is nestled among tall trees on a sloping terrain, overlooking a restored (c. 1765) spring, a placid pond, and extensive gardens which are certified both as an Aboretum and a Backyard Wildlife Habitat. The house and spring are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and visitors are welcomed for guided historic tours. The Greenville Council of Garden Clubs, Inc. takes pride in serving as custodian of this culturally significant property and in overseeing its preservation so that current and future generations may enjoy it.
Every Thursday night in September and October – Falls Park – Moonlight Movies – Come early to grab a good spot in Falls Park, and play trivia with us before the show. Movies begin at sundown. Local food trucks and Poppington’s Popcorn will be on-site.

June 7, 2025 – January 18, 2026 – Upcountry History Museum – Avengers: Endgame – The Exhibition – The first exhibition of its kind in the United States, the project invites visitors of all ages to traverse the Marvel Universe. This once-in-a lifetime experience will explore the fourth installment in the Avengers saga and is the culmination of 22 interconnected Marvel films and the climax of a journey. The exhibit’s design and messaging will emulate Avengers: Endgame’s principles of friendship, teamwork, and setting aside differences to overcome impossible obstacles.
March 15, 2025 – September 7, 2025 – Upcountry History Museum – Beautification: The Environmental Legacy of Lady Bird Johnson will guide visitors through a comprehensive story of Mrs. Johnson’s life, from childhood through her post-White House years. Visitors will be immersed in the life and legacy of Lady Bird Johnson, including her friendship with Ted Geisel, a.k.a. Dr. Seuss. Assets, on loan from the LBJ Presidential Library and the Johnsons daughters Lynda Bird Johnson Robb and Luci Baines Johnson include items from Whistle Stop campaign tours, gowns from White House galas, and mementos from beautification projects along with letters, photographs, oral histories, home movies, and artifacts – the majority of which have never been shared with the public.
May 24, 2025 – September 21, 2025 – Upcountry History Museum – Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice – Crossing the threshold of this special exhibition means traveling back in time to explore the Age of the Dinosaurs. As visitors move through the exhibit they encounter unfamiliar landscapes, touchable dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes, and opportunities to investigate clues about what the dinosaurs left behind. The exhibit builds on the popular fascination with dinosaurs and includes science, history, and literacy based activities to challenge all ages. Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice, is the first child-centered exhibit dedicated to expanding the understanding of dinosaur habitat and range. The bilingual (Spanish and English) exhibit features three distinct sections that build on a child’s innate curiosity about dinosaurs: Land of Fire (a warm dinosaur habitat), Land of Ice (a cold dinosaur habitat), and a Field Research Station (complete with a Big Dig experience).
September 20, 2025 – February 1, 2026 – Upcountry History Museum – War Dogs: K9 Military Heroes Twenty pieces of art paint a more complete picture of dogs at work, detailing the most menacing war dogs to goggled high-flying dogs to sleeping warriors and keen detectives. Artifacts include items used by war dogs and their handlers. Dog uniforms, medical kits and Purple Hearts share poignant stories of perseverance and bravery. Military working dogs have served and protected countless lives in war, this inspiring exhibition tells their amazing story.

September 12 – 13 – The City of Mauldin will be hosting it’s 15th annual BBQ Cook-Off at the Mauldin Cultural Center. The Mauldin BBQ Cook-off features more than 20 cookers from all over the Southeast, competing to bring the best BBQ to Mauldin. The festival opens Friday night with our Anything Butt competition, where Participating Cookers serve anything BUTT their BBQ to pique your tastebuds. Sliders, grilled chicken, smoked cobbler—the only way to know what’s cooking is to come try it for yourself.
Saturday features the main event, a BBQ Cook-off competition with a panel of certified Tasters from the South Carolina BBQ Association. The public will also have a chance to cast their vote for the best BBQ and the winner of the People’s Choice Award.

September 30 – Peace Concert Hall – Melissa Etheridge – Known for her confessional lyrics and raspy, smoky vocals, Melissa Etheridge stormed onto the American rock scene in 1988 with the release of her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album. For several years, her popularity grew around such memorable originals as “Bring Me Some Water,” “No Souvenirs” and “Ain’t It Heavy,” for which she won a Grammy in 1992. Etheridge hit her commercial and artistic stride with her fourth album, Yes I Am (1993). As a performer and songwriter, Etheridge has shown herself to be an artist who has never allowed “inconvenient truths” to keep her down.
